Central Presbyterian purchased the property that’s home to the garden area on your right when The Massillon Club was razed in 2011. Founded in 1917 by members of the Massillon Board of Trade as a men’s dining club, where many Massillon business transactions and social activities occurred. Women were granted membership in the 1970s. When it closed, The Massillon Club was one of the last private dining clubs remaining in Ohio.
