Look across First Street.  The empty lot on the corner was once Fred Bratchi’s Sohio gas and service station.  Local men like to pass time here talking baseball and listening to Fred’s stories of his days as an outfielder in Chicago and Boston in the 1920s.  He was one of ten Massillon men who have played in the majors.
