Follow the orange arrows on the signs as you walk

Scot Phillips painted this flood control pumping station for the City.  The central figure is NFL Hall of Fame coach Paul Brown wearing his signature fedora surrounded by images of Obie.

Brown established his coaching career in Massillon, where he had quarterbacked the Washington High School Tigers.  After successful seasons as head coach at The Ohio State University, Brown coached at Great Lakes Naval Training Station during World War II, and co-founded and coached both the Cleveland Browns and the Cincinnati Bengals.

Directions: Continue walking in the same direction toward Lincoln Way.  Cross Lincoln Way and turn left.  Find the next mural on the east exterior wall of the Massillon Senior Center in about a block and a half.
