Peter George started his confectionary on West Center in 1902—that’s the little westside commercial area at the corner of Tremont and Sixth Street Southwest.  He moved to this location in 1907.  From then until the 1980s, it was a favorite Massillon shop for family outings, after-school fun, sodas after a movie, and hand-crafted chocolates.  After several dormant decades, it has been revived.
