Follow the blue arrows on the signs as you walk

The building with the rose-colored columns you just passed was originally a bank.  From 1926, when city bus service replaced streetcars, the Fidelity Motor Bus company offices were on the second floor.  Both sides of Lincoln Way on this block were often lined with red buses that carried school children, housewives, and business people to their destinations and home again.  City bus service discontinued by the early 1970s.
