The Christian Society of Massillon is a branch of The First Church of Christ, Scientist in Boston, USA.  The Church of Christ, Scientist, was founded in 1879.  Six local leaders signed the Massillon charter in 1903.

The church met in a home on Wellman Avenue Southeast until it purchased the Oberlin home at the northeast corner of Third Street and Lincoln Way.  Th church used that building until 1989, when it was razed and church member Robin Warstler built he current church building.

This church annually collaborates with the Community Candlelight Walk in early December.
